Hello to all you folks willing to help plan the SOLINET Tennessee Member Forum! This will be our central meeting place to start the planning process. How does everyone feel about a Tennessee meeting in August? Will it be too hot for that?
We might also want to think about planning 2 meetings - one on either end of the state.

Cutting the state in half would seem to work well, especially for the gasoline challenged.

I would like to second the motion for having an eastern and western meeting. The Blount County Library in Maryville has excellent meeting facilities - and is central for eastern Tennessee.

Sounds good. 2 meetings it is. Are we thinking extreme east and west like Memphis and Knoxville? Or more like Chattanooga and Jackson?
Personal and selfish bias: Jackson for the west. It's closer to us and splits the cost with the Memphis folks. But, maybe they'd prefer to stay home.

Does anyone know who I would contact at Maryville to discuss a meeting using their facilities? Also, for the western meeting, meetings are often in Memphis so why don't we shake it up a bit and go to Jackson? What locations would be good?
